I just got a 1987 Great Planes ElectriCub from my uncle, who used to build and fly RC planes. It's in great condition for a plane that has been sitting around for 20 years. I dont have any pictures of it in its original state but I will be starting a thread about its restoration shortly. I cant wait to get it flying again!

Summer for many means no work, no school, and best of all, RC flying season! Unfortunately I haven't flown a plane in months! In June I had exams, at the start of July I crashed all my planes, I'm on holidays now ( Tough, right? ), and in August I'm moving and my planes will still be crashed then, as they will stay in my old house, waiting patiently for my return. The withdrawal symptoms are killing me! I can't wait to fly....

I've been having a great time with the Beast 3D lately. I destroyed the first wing with my amazingly novice aerobatic and 3D skills, and after putting on a new wing I am continuing to have fun with it. The only thing is, though, the top ailerons sag down a bit, even when the bottom ones are level. Anyone encountered this problem? Any fixes?

The Airfoilz Extra 260 was my first " big" plane, as i'd only flown ultra micros before. I was intimidated at first, but now i've gotten over the fear of crashing, it's a total blast! I've been practicing harriers, and i can go for a while. I can't wait to start flying proper 3D moves! I never thought this hobby could be so addicting!

Just got the new E-Flite UMX Beast 3D for my birthday! It's an amazing flyer! Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the battery connector on it isn't the same as on the 1s powered planes, so I can't charge any batteries using my TME 1s adapter. I have flown it once though, and the AS3X really adds a new dimension to ultra-micro flight.

So I finished the Extra 260, and it looked beautiful. The first proper flight, and everything was going well. It was smooth as silk, tracked as if on rails. The, just as I was completing a figure-8, I lost orientation and it slammed into the ground. luckily, it was only cosmetic damage, but I still would've liked to keep it in one piece for at least the first couple of flights. Oh well...

I've finally finished building my Airfoilz Extra 260. I can't wait to maiden it, but unfortunately it's been really windy here lately. I'll post up some pictures soon!

Recently I decided that I would give heli flying a go, so today I ordered a Blade mSR X from amainhobbies.com. I can't wait for it to arrive!

I've just finished building the Airfoilz Extra 260 which I got for Christmas. I can't wait to fly it, but I have to wait for the servos to arrive first. I'll post some pics soon.

This happened a little while ago, but seeing as I only joined RCGroups a few days ago I'll show you now.

This may be a familiar story for some, but for the more inexperienced, here goes:I was out flying my UM T-28, when for no reason whatsoever it flipped in midair and plunged groundwards like a rocket. This unusual occurrence happened three times, once onto grass and twice onto tarmac. Needless to say, the model was unflyable. Check out the damage:

I hope to receive a package from Hobbyking soon which will allow me to fix it.
