Building the new DW Foamies Yak 54 to give feedback to Mike on how it builds, flies, and 3D's. I have been flying the Double-X Bipe for a little while and this Yak is a new design by a fellow IMAC buddy Pedro Brauntas.

I really like the looks of this and wanted to do something fun with the paint job. I'm not sure what inspired me but I wanted a really wild theme and tiger stripes came to mind. While searching for good pics of tigers I came across a few tiger faces that I thought would look cool blown up big on one wing half. With flat foamies I always paint the parts separately so it's easier to mask and paint. The paint is Plasti-cote Glow Orange and the other colors are a variety of markers. These are Shiba Inus. They are a very old Japanese breed related to Akitas and their descendants are now Australian Dingos. Very smart, very stubborn, they don't bark much but they do like to talk.
