After 20 years of collecting dust I decided to make this my winter project. Broken off (and missing) wing tip (now fixed), broken and missing formers, missing float tip and instruction manual and my shop assistant lacks focus..... but I must be a glutton for punishment. Air frame is mostly Spruce so it's still in pretty good shape. Adding flaps and individual servos for ailerons. This is going to be interesting....I think this is going to involve some TLAR building techniques.....

Picked up a NOS CR fuse here on RCG, had a friend cut some cores. This is the end product, perfect for some light to medium air, lazy afternoon slope fun.

Does anyone have some information on this plane? I know it's a Blue Airlines Filou. Updated from a Cobalt 05 to a Turnigy Glider Drive, I've had this plane for about 20 years. The thing is bulletproof! Flies like it's on rails....

Stopped and took a picture of my new toy the other day while walking the dog. It's the meadow behind my house. Works as a pretty good spot for flying too.

Fat tire electric bike...
Hey old guys.....I picked this up to avoid those hikes that are required for some of our slope sites. I'll figure out the plane rack this week.

Decided to build one with a fuselage this time. Used a little electric planer to shape it. Have no idea how I'll finish this one. Naked foam, glass, goop, tape ?

The fiberglass version came out about twice as heavy as the foam edition at around 21 oz. balanced. It needed a nose to properly balance so a quick look around the shop and came up with this. The top to a bottle of mosquito repellent.

Nice little sloper. Comes with all hardware, except the servo tray. HS5055's fit in the wing perfectly. AUW is around 15oz. (Probably could have been an ounce or so lighter with HS55's (or similar) in the fuselage and a lighter battery pack. But heck, it's not a DLG.

The title says it all......
Or I guess you could call it "The Eastern Block Flock" since there's one from The Ukraine, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.

Just finishing up this gem purchased recently on RCG. Anyone have a thought on approximate CG. I set it at 35% which puts it just on the rear of the wing rod.
Oh yeah, the pilots name is Gretchen.

P-39 or P-63 ? Kit came with no landing gear and instructions for both aircraft along with some decals for the P-63. So I built it into a Pss (AUW 31 0z.)
