The new frame is coming alone nicely. I have made some slight changes to increase stiffness but it remains mostly unchanged. The current weight is 23g printed in PLA

Hello all

Recently I have been working on designing a 90mm ducted frame for use with micro brushless motors. I am looking to build something that I can bounce off walls like my Inductrix Pro, but also has a little more power so it can be flown outdoors and in larger indoor spaces as well. I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested in purchasing the frame that I am designing if it was offered for sale in the future

Let me know your thoughts

DJI Matrice 100 and Mavic Pro Mid Air Crash (0 min 21 sec)

Me and one of my friends managed to run into each other. Both drones stayed in the air and little damage was done. However, this is a great example as to why you should never fly over people

I just finished mounting a Duo camera onto my 250 racing quadcopter. It has thermal infrared and visible video, so it should be pretty fun to fly around. Here are some pictures of it mounted on my quadcopter. Pics and videos from my flights to follow soon

After the main frame was build I installed the electronics, servo linkages and all of the other little details like velcro for the battery pack and more fiber tape on critical points that I thought might need more strength. The last picture is the finished product, all ready to fly minus the battery. The maiden flight went very well and the video is coming soon.

Once the electronics were tested and the foam was cut into a circle I added the carbon fiber flats across the bottom of the wing and glued a 1" tall double strip of foam down the center of the underside of the plane. I made the motor mount out of a small block of wood and glued it onto the center of the plane.

All of the electronics and foam came in the mail today. I wired up all the electronics and tested them. Everything was in good working order so I went ahead and started cutting the foam. I cut a 17" diameter circle of the 6mm foam to be the main body of the plane. It has no tail or fuselage, just a circle of foam with a dihedral added to the edges. Here is the thread where I got the plans: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=836389

Yesterday I finally put the Gopro on my Popwing. The gopro is mounted on the small space in front of the stock battery location, stuck onto a sanded-flat area with a surf board sticky mount. Halfway through the video the prop falls off. Here is the video:

Recently I got a new flying wing from Nitroplanes. I got the 1200mm Popwing. I have set it up and been flying it for a few weeks and it has been great- no problems and very durable. At some point I am hoping to put a Gopro on it and get some aerial videos. Until then here are some pictures and the maiden flight video.
