I may not do a 130X Stretch, will probably just change to a lighter canopy, keep the current 150mm boom, but no 130X blades. I want to keep more stock than not.

I think my AC6 is dying

recently I have noticed that after a charge, the total voltage as displayed by the charger was not the fully charged voltage of that battery. Like a 2s would only get to about 8.37V and the charger said it was done. Even weirder, I just started charging a 2200mAh 3s with it, and the individual cells said 4.19-4.20 volts, but the total voltage is said to be only 12.45V??? The cells just hovered around 4.18-4.20 until the total voltage said 12.60V... odd.

May need to get a new charger.

Plan to build a mini quadcopter... I can get all the parts I need (besides a frame which I will build) for $130 shipped to my door

Well that was fun. Went to my flying field and a couple other people were there flying some super nice expensive multirotors with lights and GPS... if you didn't know how epic night flying is with multirotors, you should look. The guys there had the DJI Naza with GPS system. They had super bright lights and even though it was pitch black orientation was perfect. When we first got there we were flying my dad's CheapNEasy, but the guys showed up with their multirotors and I just had to stop and watch. One of them had a SUPER bright light on the bottom and it practically lit up the whole field!

Now these guyrs got me wanting a quadcopter... why is RC such an addictive hobby!?!??!

Found this on HeliFreak

Wanted to calibrate the governor with a full load instead of using a partially changed battery with the blades off. Strapped my 500 down to a coffee table with bungee cords passed through the frame (not the skids) and a towel between the skids and the table to prevent ground resonance.

Looked good and secure, what would possibly go wrong?

Ran it up to full throttle/collective and it started to move the table

I bet he had to wind that motor himself, no way you can get a 250 size motor 6s capable...

Contacted Lynx Heli, they're replacing my mis-packaged Lynx 42mm Tail Rotor for free, and some in-store credit of the price of shipping

They put the Nano CPX's 42mm Tail Rotor in the package for the mCP X BL 42mm tail rotor... so they are replacing it for free. Now I can give the Nano CPX 42mm tail rotor to a buddy of mine for his Nano

Great support, Lynx

It works, nearly identical to the DS420, just a tiny bit less torque, but I have seen people use them on the tail no problem.

And the other reason is that it's the only digital servo I have, and the CSM SL630 will burn up an analogue servo in 5 seconds

Someone recently gave me a CSM 630 Gyro to try on my 450, along with a full Align flybar head and a bunch of other stuff.

I bet it will work better than the GY48V
