As promised, here are some updated drawings. These have been slightly corrected/revised and dimensions have been added. I havent completed the overall layout drawing...Schoolwork kind of trumps "fun work" at the moment.

Enjoy! More to come!

Ok guys, so I have a few things done in AutoCad related to the Pronto. I havent dimensioned anything or added any notes, etc etc etc, so the drawings I am going to attach right this moment are not dimensioned. I will add finalized drawings here soon once I complete everything. If anyone wants to check my original source for this stuff, go to the FREE forum and search "continuing a legend", you should find the post.

Hey guys! So, I haven't written a blog on here yet, so I figured today would be as good as any.

First off, let me introduce myself a bit. My name is Josh Cranston and Im from a little town in Virginia called Buena Vista. I currently go to school in Rochester, NY at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and am majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technologies. My major really is my passion in life: I like to build stuff. I like to design too, but I really just like to get my hands dirty. Im one of those guys who would rather work 10hrs out in the field than sit 8hrs behind a desk. As for work, at the moment I am an AutoCad instructor at the Rochester Veterans Outreach Center (basically I do workforce training for displaced military veterans). Funny thing is, because of that job, I have started to love teaching. I doubt that I would ever make a career out of it, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

Now, on to RC stuff... I am really still pretty new to the RC scene, in terms of a hobby that is. I have always been the model railroad guy. I recently did the math and over the 7 years I consistently built my railroad stuff, basically from when I was about 11 till I went to college, I had sank $2500+ into it, and about 1500 was money that I spent on it (the rest was mostly gifts, usually from my grandpa who got me into the hobby). To me, thats a s%$&load of money!

Anywho, I currently only own two little micro helicopters, as I dont really have the money for much more than that....Continue Reading
