I have recently stripped down an Esky honeybee king 2. Replace the main shaft, feathering shaft, new blades etc.
I got rid of the old radio and hooked up a Dx6i.
I set the blades as best as i could, even changing the push links exactly the same.
I checked online for the Dx6i settings for a king 2.
When i tried the settings, i had to adjust some of the settings as the aileron and elevator was reversed. Then i couldnt get the swash plate to idle up. It was going down, so i adjusted some more settings so that everything went the correct way. The main blades are turning clockwise and the tail blades are turning counter-clockwise. My battery is fine, and i have a brushless motor setup.
Now for the wierd part. The helicopter will not take off. I have been on youtube and google all day seeking answers. It seems to me the blades are inverted all the time as the air is pushing upwards. (The blades are on the correct way). I have made adjustments again with the stick at mid position and setting one blade close to zero, then moving the other blade a further 10% as someone said would work. tried again and its still the same. It hasnt even been off the floor. Im totaly stuck. If anyone has any other suggestions i would be greatful.

i have to say i thought my acme raptor was fast. But this has that little bit extra.
Im using a 7.4v 4000mah lipo. Can get around 10minutes just messing about on tarmac. Great car, does well over 45mph. A nice new toy for the new year

I have just brought a blade mcpx v2 (v2 being the tails clip on and off compared to the old style), i need to know how to fly upside down. Obviously i can fly the mcpx as normal. When i tried setting my dx6i up to the requirements in the manual, the helicopters blade pitch was set so it would only fly upside down which was just crazy. I went on you tube and found the factory settings and now it is flying as it should or there abouts. Ive never flown a 3d heli though and im wondering how do you actualy make it fly upside down. what lever or switch makes this happen. What is the process of action to complete this action. If anyone could help i would be very grateful, thankyou.

Can anyone tell me if i can buy pretty much any 450 helicopter and a spektrum receiver and install it on the helicopter to bind to my dx6i? Someone told me that you can only buy e-flite and parkzone, which i do have. But then i see people with a TREX 250 or 450 flying off a dx6i. So im guessing i get a receiver and install it in the helicopter and im done. Is this right? can anyone help me?

Ive recently brought the night vapour from kings lyn model shop online.
I have to say i never thought i would get into planes but this one is pretty fun as you can fly it slow enough in the house. I have been recommended to upgrade to the cub J3 motor to give it the extra power to hover. Its good enough for now though.
I also purchased a DX6i with a receiver and brought an F16 jet too. Im not opening that until xmas though.
I think i may go for the F27 Q sooner or later. Il stick with the vapour for now and the F16 64mm ducted fan.

What a brilliant helicopter, really opened it up today around the factory i work in. Got a lot of space to play with which is good.
I would highly recommend this helicopter to anyone, especially if you love the solo pro aswell.
I find it slightly quicker than the solo pro, and it looks fantastic! The plastic cabin sets are only 9.95 too, so you can change the look to four different designs.
Ive started with the dark blue with a white stripe, looks great!
Im finding it hard to find the machine gun and rocket that attatch to the sides of the cabin, anyone know where i can find any?

I have recently purchase the bravo sx and have the 150mah batteries needed for it to work. I was told by buzzflyer uk that the remote control i have for the solo pro (latest vesion) will work on this helicopter.
When i try to bind them, they will not bind what so ever.
Anyone had any experience in this matter?
Please help me!

Does anyone own one of these helicopters, not the old one with twin blades but the new one with a single blade. Since the solo pro 2 was a good helicopter, im expecting this to be the same.
It will be with me by monday. Any reviews on them i wold love to hear, thanks!

I got my solo pro 2 yesterday and i love it! Its so easy to fly and the perfect choice for a 4 channel for beginners like myself!
It virtualy hovers in the air without having to fight with it too much.
It has an indoor mode, and an outdoor mode. Good stuff!
I totaly recommend this helicopter for beginners, or even skilled pilots as i got my friend to check it out and he was impressed.
Ive heard alot of bad reviews on the blade msr which i was put off by and think i have made the right choice in purchasing this helicopter.
Maybe now i can get used to my honey bee v2!

Im loving the honey bee v2 my girlfriend got me for xmas. Forget your 3 channel helicopters, this means business. Well it did do until i crashed it lol.
I found that buying an aluminium blade holder did well as i snapped 3 plastic holders by landing side on. So i recommend this as a good mod, 12.99 from ebay. Heliguy do a lot of spares too for esky.
Ive jumped right in on this helicopter as i do have 6- 3 channel helicopters aswell and a small nine eagles solo pro 4 channel helicopter (2.4 ghz).
I still love the 3 channel ones, as it was my starting point.
I prefer the syma range, and find the s105g (27mhz), s107 (27mhz) both of which take 6 AA batteries in the controller, s006g (40mhz) are great starters.
The s006g was released this year and is a medium sized powerful helicopter, great for beginners like myself, it has the same mould control as the T-34 and takes 4 AA batteries. There is also a switch to change the speed too.
Another very stong helicopter is the T-34 series, its as large as a honey bee 2. Very powerful and it will even lift a DV camera no problem.
It comes with a control that has an lcd screen where you can turn lights on and off from this, visibly see the height gauge go up and direction of the helicopter on the screen and only 50. The control takes just 3 AA 1.5v batteries.
If you want something a bit more fun then the honey bee v2 is the helicopter for you. Practice makes perfect of course!
My nine eagles solo pro will do the job of that in the house.
Going back to the 3 channel helicopters, i found that the flymax ones are also good flyers too!
The helicopter i really want next is another small 4 channel called T-rex 100.
If anyone actually chats on this forum then drop me a post sometime, thanks!

hi people, im 27 years old and im new to the world of flying. Ive come to love it with a passion just in the last 3 months.
I started off with some small 3 channel helicopters, and also have a medium and large.
I didnt really understand about 4 channel and 6 channel until i spoke to a friend who was into flying, who suggested buying a honeybee 2.
Well last xmas the girlfriend brought me one and i have only just got it setup properly as it was not ready to fly as it said on the box. I broke it 3 time just by taking it up in the air a few feet lol.
At work there is a large space so ive been practicing hovering over one spot.
Im getting there slowly lol.
With practice im sure il be great one day.
Ive recently purchased a nine eagles solo too, so i can practice in the living room and wind the girlfriend up by flying into walls lol.
Practice makes perfect hey.
I would be interested if anyone wants to share what the best helicopters are to get, prices, maintainence etc.
