I just placed a photo on my page, it's the photo that got me spun up to do the Saturn Owners thread, and one of my favorite photos. It is Mike William's friend's Saturn 2.9T. Thanks to Mike for sending it to me long ago.
As of Dec 2nd, 2009, although the interest is still there, I just don't have the time right now to do much flying or building. I started an as yet unfinished project with Tom Martin of TMRC to build a mold, fuselage and prototype of his 1/5th scale Schweizer 1-23. It is about 80% done, but has taken waaaay to long. I won a Ruby molded 2 meter at visalia in 2007. It is ready to fly, but I haven't managed to maiden it yet, maybe this month, I usually manage to take a few extra days off around Christmas.
My plan for 2010 is to fly more often, finish the 1-23 and fly it, and get to a few Sacramento club contests as well as return to Visalia.
From 1991-1997 I produced R/C kits under the DLD name (David Layne Designs, also Layne/Urwyler)
