Well I've pushed the TRex 450 to the back burner. The learning curve is so steep I was loosing interest in it. Constant research has taken all the fun out of it. I placed the bird back in it's case and am learning to fly planes now. I currently own a Micro P51, A micro Night vapor, a micro Ember and of course the Slow Stick.

The Ember was the best buy ever. It took me from crashing within 30 seconds to flying a full pack out and landing. Now I've moved on to the 4 channel micro P-51 as a 4 channel trainer.

Why Micros? There is no substitute for "stick time" not even a simulator comes close. These are small enough to be flown in my back yard. So I fly almost daily. This has helped the learning curve immensely.

About a month ago I bought a T Rex 450. I'm in the process of replacing a tail drive gearbox. However about 2 weeks ago I stripped several screws in the frame. Trying to remove the gearbox, Due to cheep tools, OK I now know better. Last night I used a Dremel to cut a screwdriver slot into the screws. Worked great. Now the work begins. I'm also setting the copter back to stock from the hopped up ESC, Bat. and motor.
