This is the build thread for my 60" Divinity that I plan to use for filming from the sky.

The Divinity is a KFm4 slow flying wing designed by ApachePilot, plans and lots of info can be found in this thread.

For the main body I'm going to laminate a sheet of 3mm with a 6mm sheet to get a 9mm base to work on. For the KF steps and such I'm using 3mm. The wingtips will be 6mm. I'm not sure what thickness the elevons should be, but I think it will be 9mm laminated there as well. Thanks to ApachePilot (and Dickeroo) for advice regarding what thickness to choose for the different parts.

I haven't decided what motor I should use yet. I've gotten some tips from BatterysIncluded and Jackerbes regarding thrust/watt to weight ratio and possible motors. The 60"'er will get a motor mount that makes it easy to test different motors. Hopefully one of my current motors will have enough power to fly this bird nicely. Motors I'll test on her:
TowerPro BM2410-08T
TowerPro BM2409 -12T
AX 2308N 1100kv

I've cut and glued the 6mm main body this evening. It is bigger than my foam sheets, I needed three parts to get it like I wanted. From 42" to 60" makes a lot bigger difference than I thought!

This is my FireFly built from leadfeathers plans in this thread.

My FireFly has been alive since 21-05-2010. It is a great flier, with a 3s 800mah battery it has great speed and gives me a kick. If i put a 450 2s lipo on it can fly incredible slow in high alpha and I can fool around with the rudder close to the ground. I have flown this plane a lot. When I made my FireFly I made a twin at the same time, so I could move the electronics over when the first one died... Guess what, its not near dying yet!

My setup:
3x hxt-500 servos
2730 - 1500 KV motor
8x4,7 sf prop (cut down from 9")

She has a few scratches now, the prop has taken some bites for instance. I glue the foam back on and every once in a while I paint the spots missing paint. I'm currently making a hatch for her battery. The hatch has a magnet so it will stay put. Its winter here now, so the plan is to tape around the hatch so that snow does not get into the esc and receiver.

Maiden movie

Because my receivers signal pin on channel 3 is broken, I had to figure out a way to get around it. I managed to use channel 4 as throttle in two steps.

1. PMX 1 - set channel 3 as master and channel 4 as slave
2. D / R - set 0% for channel 4

With theese two settings you get throttle on channel 4 (and 3)
