Well I lost one wing of my beloved black and red star AXN. It flew off and was carried into a big land fill never to be found. The bright side is that the fuselage landed outside of the land fill and the power system and servos are still in good shape.

Now the dilemma! What air frame to build for the gear? It has to be an exotic, a scratch built aircraft. it must be black with red stars like its predecessor, it must be the likes of which no one has ever seen. Am I setting my sights too high? Can I pull it off and make a most unusual aircraft?

I finally got up the nerve to tear apart one of my AeroAce biplanes and build something of my own. Not as pretty as I would have liked but it flies good and that was my primary goal.

Fuselage is made from styrofoam, wings are de-papered Elmers foam board and the tail feathers are made from a Hefty Depron dinner plate.
