OK y'all. Time to follow through on my promise to log my builds. First on the menu: recreating one of my favorite planes I've ever flown. I made a 25" Mini Vizion a few years ago and flew it a bunch of times before taking it to the Eagle Indoor Fly-In at Embry Riddle in Daytona. At that event my plane was destroyed. Details on its destruction will follow.
On to my latest project, I am going to be building the same craft, this time shooting for a lighter AUW. Anything between 70 and 80 grams will be satisfactory. At this stage I have already picked a motor, wound it to my desired kV, picked an ESC (which I may change later), find a receiver to use, and am currently deciding on what servos to use.
I have my airframe cut out and am currently in the process of milling the final pieces of foam with my Dremel tool.
OK, guys. I feel as if I'm letting you down. I haven't posted any build threads in a long time because I've just been rushing through projects trying to maintain my flying fleet, not to mention the fact that my few threads have been pretty measly. My goal this year is to start logging my builds FULLY with pictures all along the way. I'm posting this mostly as a personal reminder to myself, so I'm not expecting any exciting responses.
