More foam to work with.
60" P51D
60" Electron DS

As we get older we need larger wing spans.

At long last it is done. Rattle canned the fuse. Not a looker but sure should fly nice. Pink was not much help but he always has a questioning look on his face, I like him.

Did not get to maiden at Cape Blanco, looks like I will have to wait tell Petterson opens on November 1st.

Had time to work on the Gulp again.
Found just the right lead for the Ballast tube. 18 of them fit in, adding 9oz. to the plane. Lead has a hole in the center so it can be tied in to what ever amount you want, adding a foam plug between lead for less wt.
November 1 !!!!Petterson butte is open, time to fly. Made it up there on opening day.

Just finished up what I call the Home Brew, not sure of the airfoil. Has a foam body with the battier in the nose. Will take it to Cape Blanco and see how it will DS.

Garden is in, anticipating Salsa Time again.

Wind needs to be coming up the river for some good flying. Large landing zone atop the A.

This DS site almost worked for my 13 oz. Zagy, wind from the right, be sure to not get to close to the water. Yep I had to fish it out once.

Mog wing is ready for covering after one layer of extreme tape. My friend in the tree is saying his prayers (he is wanting me to get this plane done so he can have a mog lunch).

Cut Elevons down and attached 3" to each wing tip and glued 3/32 ply to each tip. This should make for a faster Mog in the turns, maybe less flutter at speed.

Covering removed, now to smooth the wing out, harden up the tips and recover.

Picked up another MOG, thanks Matter_Daddy, I will probably take it down and recover the wing and do a little work on the tail. This one is at 1.39 lb. and my old one is at 1.42 lb.
Did a little work on the Gulp wing tip, been slow going, working out of town.

Get er done ya poke.

Took me 7 hr 25 min. to build, came in at 11.5 oz.
I never could figure out what way to put the wing tips on. I think as long as they match you should be ok.
