Well, fist off, Hello and thanks for stopping in. I have received some questions about my username so I thought I would let you know what I do. I served 9 years active duty in the Air Force, then got out. I stayed in aviation and moved around, but missed the camaraderie that the Air Force has. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to take a civil servant job back with the Air Force as an Air Force Engineering and Technical Service (AFETS) rep at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC on the F15E Strike Eagles stationed there. What I do in a nut shell is provide technical assistance to the propulsion community in the form of on the job training, technical data interpretation and correction, engineering support with product improvement and field service evaluation of new parts and processes, I work the flight line and the back shop as well as support the secondary power system on the F15E ........just to name a few of the things I do.
I ride motorcycles as well as fly RC. I am mostly onto Sail Planes but have done power and tried Heli's but that was more work than fun, so I bailed on the heli's.
UPDATE: Jan 2009: I have volunteered for an assignment working on the new UAV Reaper. This aircraft is the big brouther of the Predator UAV.
I guess my user name will no longer apply.........
Maybe Reaper Keeper would work!
