F16 Aggressor theme with Rudders, Ailerons/Spoilerons mod. Sidewinder missiles added (tape on for now).

Stock fan and motor works will but may upgrade to 4s. I had 5 months of flying with it. Its one of the best foamy jet I've ever flown.

Bought the kit from Horizon. Put together in one night. Add rudder and custom made motor mount. I build that w/ 1/8 ply and strong epp for shock absorption. Motor came from P3 Warhawk after last week deadly crash. Im using rubber bands and for break away in case of a nose dive.

1st day Maiden with belly landing.
Very calm warm morning at the CH park. No nose cone and spinner. (save it for later). Hand launch w/ 75% throttle, it has a hard torque to the right and I quickly recovered. This one has to be the best foamy war bird I've ever flown. I knew it from the beginning. It is by far more stable and predictable than the P3 Warhawk. Quickly pull a double loop and rolls which the Warhawk would have a hard time matching. Low speed was good (did not stall out like the Warhawk). Rudder is efficient. Belly is a bit hard because of the belly air intake. yet I manage to have my first landing. 2nd landing after about 5mins of flight came down a bit too steep. I tried add a bit throttle and pull up ended up hitting the bottom of my right wing. Servo horn got caught and striped the gear. Otherwise, close to a perfect maiden in my book.

8.3 flying weight w/ 800amp-25s battery. could be even lighter if I switch out my heavy HS65 servo w/ new HS45. My goal is to learn more about 3D high alpha flights. Also using two piece of string to practice vertical hovering.

Epp fuse, dephron and wing tapes. Testing of strength, scale vs weight with usage of flaperon or spoileron. Pave way to F14 sweep wing in similar configuration. Main goals are soft landing and high alpha flight. Total weight got up to 23.3 oz w/ 3s-1650 amp battery....Continue Reading

Thanks for all the masters; Steve Shumate, Dave Powers and old school J morgan. Im starting to get a handle on building a bird of my dream. Version No. 5 is done. I have taken a few picture and put it against a real background in photoshop to test the color scheme. There is a lot of things I want to do differently. So, stay tune for No.6....Continue Reading
