The plane arrived unscathed on April 18 2016. thank you to JB Hobbies for the free shipping to Canada. They are a stand up company and I would recommend them to anyone.

The canopy on this model is the real area which needs to be addressed and as I am turning fifty shortly I would like to put a bit of effort into this model.

Aluminium tape covering siding canopy are on the plans. So Lets get this Tony started.

This is a fine model, well made very reasonably priced and in a very manageable size.

I intend to use this plane to give a home to some spares I have laying about. E retracts, 70 amp esc and any servos I have in the spares box will get some use and I should get some room back in the spares box.

First thing to be replaced on the model are the exhaust stacks. I had a set of 1700mm FMS mustang exhaust stacks so off with the individual stacks and replace in a more spitfire way. Some scrap balsa and a bit of epoxy and there you have it.

Here we go with my electric conversion and mods to the Seagull models Sea fury
Firstly the fin and rudder are all wrong and need reworking.
Cut from the bottom of the rudder and glue to the top using the same piece.
Cover and reattach
