Finally my game was released, and its doing well.
The stresses of beta testing day and night and the sleepless nights because of Apple are over.

Still unsure how soon I can get back into R/C because I have to make money...
but the next thing I'd like to do is another 30mm Jet.

Heres the link to Ravensword on the App store, just in case you want to check it out.

I've taken some time off from R/C to concentrate on the iPhone game that I'm developing called Ravensword: The Fallen King. Luckily I did some flying early in the summer which was enough to keep me going through this time of NO R/C flying. Sad but true... Let me say this - I do plan to be at indoor this year!

So the game is an Action RPG - which means that its like Dungeons and Dragons on the iPhone where you fight, get treasure, experience points etc. You can go on quests and do side missions, slay Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, etc...
My job was basically creating and arraning all of the graphics in the game.

It is fun so if you own and iPhone or iPod touch you should check it out when it comes out (in October sometime.)

Heres the trailer, and I've attached some screenshots too.
I hope to get back into RC again when I have some money to spend on it! (and time) I may or may not be at the NEAT fair but I really hope I can make it.

Hey guys,
We have finally let the cat out of the bag about "Operation Secret Squirrel"
Its a line of warbirds, made for the Parkzone brick. It was a cooperation between Axon Racing and
They are durable and fun combat micros!
The first is the P51, shown here. The next one will most likely be the Me-109.
There will be a flight video within the next week or so. The "cool" thing is the 4 bladed prop which we found at the right time..
It will be fun when the whole set is released before indoor season starts up again!

Here are some pics my wife took of the Firefox today flying it in the neighborhood. Its a small 17" Micro pusher jet made of half EPP and half Depron foam.

Theres a thread about it in indoor and micro models.

Well guys my little "experiment" finally made it to Hobby-Lobby!
Over a year in the making and well worth it. I'm happy to have my racers shown to the general public!
I must say, I was shocked to see it tonight on the front page of their site.
Its hard to believe that they would even carry something as "different" as this...

I'm working on some other "secret" projects as I write this - and some cool upgrades for the Axon.
Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way -
especially RJ, Randy(Termite), Tim, Patrick, Dan, Mark, Tom (Kelberts), you know who you are!
I'm planning something extra cool for next xmas!

Here is my latest design evolution of the original Rayfish jet.
This design is suited for 40-50mm lightweight fan units.

Welcome to my secret project(not a secret anymore!)
For the last 8 months I've been spending my spare time working on a high powered racing vehicle, similar to a hovercraft, but meant for pavement, sand, or clay. Its called an Anti-Gravity RacerTM or AGR.

The Razorback is our first model.
It is 1/18th scale, dual brushless. Comes fully assembled.
Only requires a 3 cell lipo, receiver and radio.

Stock motor will get you 25mph, our upgraded motor(4300kv) will get you close to 50mph. A little screamers jet screamer would get you even faster.

I like to use it with a car radio, the Spektrum DX2, but it also works great with a DX7. A little more fun with the car radio because its made for racing.

You can beat the crap out of this thing. In testing I came up with something that you can bash pretty good. I like to jump it off of skateboard ramps, halfpipes, quarter pipes, etc. Can do nice floaters off speed bumps.
The amount of different tricks it can do is amazing. Because it torque rolls when the throttle is on, off of a jump, you can do rolls, but you can also rotate with the rudder, so many aerial manuevers are possible.

Takes some getting used to - its not like a car. It drifts without even trying!
You can drift for 10-15 feet with ease.
When its trimmed out perfectly, theres no other feeling like it.
It hovers only 1/4 inch off the ground - just feels so smooth! Like your driving the car of the future. No wheels of course.
Just a super durable foam...Continue Reading
