So about 4 years ago I lost my H9 Pulse 40 to a ESC blow out or so I thought. Wing was fine, but the fuse was a wreck. Firewall, wing mount and landing gear mount all destroyed. I kept it in my basement for years, was not sure why I did not tose it. Well a friend got into the hobby this year and really wanted a second plane and talked me into trying to repair it and so I did. Well it just remaidened and holy crap the landing gear mount and firewall all held. 3 flights on it. This is the most extensive repair job I have done. He now has it as his low wing trainer and I could not be more happy. Setup is lightning 50 motor CC edge 75 on 4S 4000mah spinning a 13 x 8 prop.

This is my third build of a Gremlin EP. Lost the first from a real bad throw from a friend and the second from a wind vortex the tree line was making ( I was flying it in 25 mph wind).

While a while ago I made a silly mistake and the Mustang went in. I kept looking to see if someone put one up for a good price and I found it 2 months ago. After Christmas I start my conversion.

I learned to fly on this plane in 07 and after the 08 season I really haven't flown it much since. Well I have a friend of mines son who wants to learn to fly so I got a buddy system setup and brought it to the field today to get it trimmed out and felt foolish for not having flown this more often. It is a very fun and relaxing Sunday flyer. I will be bringing this plane out more often when there is light winds (yes it can handle more, but is much more fun in low winds).
Here is the link to my first solo takeoff and landing.

So I got the p-47 30cc from Hangar 9 when they discounted is to $399. Link I just finished getting the covering set (really bubbly for some reason) on the Fuss and Stab. Took me a total of around 5 hours. Here is a pic of the fuss and stab dry fitted.

So after a comedy of errors I finally had my season debut with the H9 P-51 1.50 (EP). I made some changes from last year. First I got rid of the reverser on the elevator servos and instead setup a mix with aux2. Second I moved my RX battery back to the furthest point I could and took out some of the tail weight. The plane flew great just great.

Did one of these at the end of the first year I was flying. Hope to do one every year on out.
