Ok, so I purchased a brand new cmpro cessna 182 50 size arf. I would like to fly it at the occasional scale fly in, but, most of these flyins require one or two photos to show prrof of scale. The problem is, is that the scheme of this aircraft is the plain old red and white. Does anyone know of where I could find photos of a full size one with this colour scheme?

As in a previous post, I said I would create a plane from some of my own plans. I have decided to ground this project indefinently. Reasons: Not enough time, Not enough money, and I have had bad experience building things from my own plans.

It's just that everything around here is sooooo boring without my engine head. If anyone can give me ideas for things to do relating to rc airplanes, I will take that into consideration but NO rc plans.

Seeing that it has been nearly a year since I last used Rc groups, I thought I might make some time to introduce how far I have come along since the last time I used it.

I have progressed from electric aircraft to glow powered aircraft. this was a big step for me as I had been flying electric for about 2 years. approx 1 month later, I became the member of KAMS, (Kalamunda Aeronautical Model Society). With nearly 6 months of solid training, I was able to work my way up to my solo wings. After that, things really got interesting. I amanaged to strip the glow plug threads on my engine head, so I took it down to the shop. Unfortunently they said that the supplier was out of stock so I would have to wait nearly 4 weeks!!!

So here I am with nothing to do for four whole weeks. What do I do? I make a brand new flight box, and am in the process of designing and building my very first homebuilt aircraft. (reasons for this,: I WAS BORED!!!)

So, I have drawn up the plans, and have the materials, I just need to start. This is all quite a bit for a 14 year old teenager. Sigh.

Today was a substantially profitable day, i managed to make the tail with a working elevator

Every thing i have gone through to acheive this, jst shows that you can be a good model builder and not a good flyer

DAY 1, 1 Month and 18 days to maiden Flight
The B-25 Is being built to fly once more. I am building a B-25J Mitchell bomber. like the one used in the dolittle tokyo raid!!!
Although I am only 13 i have made excellent progress with the fuselage finally finished after having to carve it out of solid wood. The problem is the price of wood these days is expensive.

Soon i am starting to make the Wings which means i am going to have to carve more things out of solid wood. I am using electric engines (Because i do not want to have to pay $600 for a pair of engines) the first flight is scheduled for the 10th of june.

I hope to continnuosly update my blog during major acheivements in this project. These plans are excellent and i hope to take this aircraft to the leading rc airshow!!! thanx guys those plans were great
