Bout once a month or so we get my girlfriends grandkids for the night. Before long they want to go out to the shop where all big boys toys are kept (hidden). I have an old PC with Realflight 3.5 on it in there, of course they love it. The oldest Ethan is catching on to it pretty fast and from time to time flys a lot longer than you might think, his main problem is his brother resetting it.
Well we decided to get the trusty EasyStar out for the first flight of the year. It was pretty chilly but the sun was strong so it was bearable.
I forgot how much fun the EZ is, I kind of moved on after I bought other "fancier" planes but this year I am going to fly it more. The EasyStar really loves the snow, overshoot the landing? no problem, throttle up and bring it back. I about wore the kids out chasing it.
Come spring I'll dig out the AeroAces and a long pole for them. Maybe a Nutball in a couple years.
