I recently bought the dynam ME262, although the model is stand off scale it still appealed to me, I am not normally a edf type person, but I thought it would be a challenge, that being a understatement, after checking the thread I knew that the retracts needed replacing ( standard retracts are very average). But once started the mod list started to grow, I have now gone way further than I ever intended.
Now the plane has had 4 coats of wbpu, Ofcourse the retract mod, nearly all servos have been replaced, fans, motors and esc's have been replaced, flap mod has been done, this has been more involved than I wanted to do.

I flew my new dynam bf110 today and it flys really nice, only a couple of things, better airflow for the battery and esc's, limited battery choice due to location.

The plane could carry a bigger pack but there is not enough room any bigger pack than zippy 2800mah 30c.

I am pleased to report the successful maid of the durafly vampire, I decided to repaint mine because of other silver ones at the club, decided to do a camo version then someone brought one, so that wasn't a option any longer. Then I came accross the sea vampire, quite a simple paint job and I was sold.

Usual boom mod was done and upgraded the fan and esc, thrust tube mod also modded, greater air in was achieved but opening up the cheater holes and removing foam from behind nose wheel.

I am using 4s 5000mah zippy compacts and it flies great, with being heavier it is positive on the landing approach and less likely to float on landing.

Well nearly another year as passed since my last entry, something's achieved and others no lol. I got the seafury funfighter which has been great, I crashed that due to pilot error, then got the T28 funfighter and now am waiting for the Me 109, I was on hobbyking on Sunday night and placed a item in my shopping cart and a freebie popped up lol, to my surprise it was the 1700mm P40N valued over $250, after a frantic order frenzy where one order was oversize and unable to be shipped I finally got the freebie.

So it's a jit item and won't be packed until near the weekend, ems freight to here should mean it will be here around the 2nd of November.

Almost a year has gone by since I made my last blog entry. Life has been interesting to say the least, I lost interest in the spitfire due to a bent tailplane but I am currently trying to get it straight so I can finish it, I also have a ams corsair which will be flying soon, then I can work on the hk mossie and windrider hurricane. I just ordered batteries for both those aircraft so that should keep on the track.

I decided get myself a 6x3 metre shed as a modelroom/workshop, now I am putting a timber frame inside and insulate the roof and walls.
