Construction: Fuselage built of dollar tree foam and turtle deck built out of 1/32 balsa sheet. Wings, Vertical Stab, and Horizontal stab all built out of dollar tree foam. Wing ribs and struts cut from balsa and basswood from hobbylobby. All gluing was done with hammerhead 5 min epoxy or wood glue. A little while ago, I developed my Scratch build rendition of the Monocoupe 90a. I'm calling in the Monosport 90a. It is built almost exclusively from readiboard (aka dollar tree foam board). Power setup is the same as the recommended setup for the SEMFF WWII models (https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1012551) . All of the construction was done with hotglue, woodglue, and occasionally epoxy. The wing was built using something akin to the armin wing method, and a balsa spar extends through about 70 percent of the total wingspan which is right around 30inches. I ended up taking off the wheel pants as they had a tendency to snag on the grass on landings. It looks great in the air, and it clips along at a pretty good pace. All of the trim scheme was done with marker/sharpie, and then sealed in using a light brushing of polyurethane.

Current setup is 3 channel with throttle, aileron, and elevator. Battery is a 800mah 2s and it is situated right behind the motor mount and cowling. For future builds I would move the battery to fit somewhere inside the cowling as I had to add some deadweight up front to achieve a center of gravity at around 27% wing chord.

Another day, another airplane. The beauty of flight just doesn't get old.
