An old magazine suggestion long ago in the "Hot Tips and Tricks" section, I think.
A simple mix for making a sanding sealer, never tried before, Thank you!

I wanted something Cheap to deal with the surface porosity on an old project I wanted to complete. Sometimes the grain selections used in the different areas of construction may affect the amount of sanding one enjoys

I just brushed it on. I let the part's dry overnight before sanding. When dry the moisture in the mix left very little fuzz and that was easily and quickly resolved with a bit of 320 sandpaper.
I also found no appreciable weight build up in the part's I filled. I had applied a second coat, there were a couple of areas I wanted to continue the process, I found the second coat not necessary for my needs.

I have a high regard to heat and try to use caution for the unknown's to me.
I found the heat did not produce issue between the elements of adhesion in a negative manner at this time.

The other stuff is just some old photos from A long time ago.

Covering films,
I am using hk film for this project because I couldn't find my stash of Monokote
yep, it was right there all along behind the other box's.
I have used the hk film before, it pulls @ the edges if its over heated, I like Monokote too.
Its all about what I thought I had on hand. There are many beautiful examples abound produced by some of U All.

Fixed wing sport flyer looking @ some high C discharge packs, these caught my eye as poetical replacements for 2 pack parallel configuration in a very fun Goldberg Eagle 63 Trainer.

Liperior Pro 2200mAh 4S 75C 14.8V Lipo Battery With XT60 Plug.
Capacity: 2200mAh
Cell Count: 4s
Voltage: 14.8V
Constant Discharge: 75C
Peak Discharge: 150C
Maximum Charge Rate: 10C
Battery Size: 107 x 36 x 35mm
Battery Weight: 277
Charge Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT60

I voided warranty 2 of them, connector change.
The packs I received weighed as follows using a nickel calibrated 12$ scale

They are about 15g ea. more than my old 45-90c hk batteries as would be expected by the small dimensional increase in size.
I am very grateful these available at this price point, I hope its sustainable.
P.S. Following instructions, I immediately put all packs into storage state of charge at arrival....Continue Reading
