Here is my super cheap FPV setup all parts from China.

This FPV adventure actually started when my good friend Charles (irun4fundotca) sent me a gopro video out cable. Once I got it I connected it to my gopro and was so impressed by how nice the picture looked live. This sparked me to create a simple and cheap FPV setup for myself and finally start trying some FPV flying.

I started by ordering a 1.2 video tx and rx combo from ebay. The total cost for this item was $39+$15shipping=$54/ This was the link to the item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251205101350...84.m1497.l2649

Next I knew I needed somthign to view my video feed on so I ordered a small 7inch TFT monitor from ebay. The total cost for the unit was $32 and this was the link to the item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111004473355...84.m1497.l2649

Next I always saw that when people were flying FPV they had some sort of on screen display that let them knew their voltage at the very least. I was going to order the simple OSD from hobbyking for about 10$ but I discovered the Remzibi OSD and found a great deal on a unit with a GPS. Having a GPS sensor allows me to get much more information just as my speed, heading, lat long, altitude and an arrow that allways points to home. This really sold me so I went ahead and ordered one of these units for $57+$15shipping= $72 from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251220691564...84.m1497.l2649

The setup is working perfectly after wiring and soldering it all. I also made a power...Continue Reading
