Bought 2 tickets aboard the hype train. Mobular 7’s as Christmas gifts, one for the nephew and one for myself.
Arrived home to a box from the postman and a short break in the rain. A new personal best to bind and configure and this flight was less than ten mins later. Literally its first battery (and only due to rain). No tune. Anti-Gravity, dynamic filter and Air mode enabled and some rough and ready rates. Footage looks whoop quality, Cams missing a lot of detail in the low light and DVR looks fairly shaky, but it feels much stronger and more precise on the sticks than your average whoop. Motors came down cool, as in cold, so theres probably heaps of head room to add D gain and prob P gain on all axis.
So far very happy with it, probably the most ‘ready to fly’ out of the box experience I’ve had. And if anyones taken the time to tune one, don't hesitate to drop some PIDs below. I'll spend some time tuning for my nephew once the weather fines up, but a better starting point would be appreciated cheers

Recently through together this Realacc K130, but after doing a quick search I wasn't able to find any info on it. So I thought I'd share some of my initial thoughts.

The frame itself is seriously rigid, the base plate is ~3mm thick (not 4mm like advertised) but the arms are wider than any other 3" I've built and motor mounts are big enough to run 22** motors, which gives plenty of protection for the smaller 13**/14**motors.
What I liked, but wasn't convinced would withstand an impact with pavement, was the top frame plate and cam aren't mounted to the FC stack, but attached by four seperate alloy stand offs. Probably adds a gram or two, but so far it's proven to be bulletproof.

Build list so far (parts I had on hand)

- 2x 1306-3200kv
- 1x BX1306-3100kv 1x BE1306-3100kv
- racerstar 4 in 1 20a v2 ESC no 5v out, which I hadn't realised until building I'v used a 5v 1amp pololu to power FC + CAM
- naze32 f1 ( thought I had a spare f3 when I started the build)
- TX526 40ch 25/200/600mw
- lemon sat, de-cased.
- runcam swift 2. 2.3mm lens

Total weight is 162g.

If it flew well I planned on borrowing a set of 1407 T1's off a lighter 3" quad that's not been getting much use lately. But after spending a few days flying around the yard, I'm actually really happy with the way it flies. It's not the fastest 3" around, (the wider arm profile mixed with the old 1306 motors) but it has more than enough punch and it's really controlable. But most importantly for me, it's already had a few nasty crashes, and nothing has broken. Which is unheard of, the harsh environment I'm flying has claimed about seven other 3" frames..

It's still early days, but I think it's awesome. Especially for ~$25 AUD. http://m.banggood.com/Realacc-K130-K...p-1120683.html
I'd be keen to hear how others experience has been?

Luxfloat maiden, PIDs too high.
Luxfloat newb giving a quick how 'not' to tune your rad little proximity flier
Power felt way off, so buzzed over head with 7800Kv motors screaming, and thought, 'all sounds peachy'. All the while my sweet little motors were about to melt from the frame.. Realised something was wrong once i'd touched full throttle to get back over the hedge..

..New tune, some fresh props, the RS is back as its little weapon self. For vid of the final tune, and info on the tiny proximity flyer, take a look at https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=2474278

Lucky enough to run a few packs through the RS90. 90mm prop-enclosed quad. About the most fun you can have at home with your pants on, assuming you fly with your pants on

Its flies narrow if that makes any sense, so i wanted to get a few warm up packs through before my DVR debut, first 30 seconds of vid, but the miss's forced me to throw a fresh pack in and get on with it, i was already late, apparently. Fast forward 30secs in, btw I'm not so good under pressure...

A couple of shots in this (i.e. first thirty seconds, and the start of another scene) were in Horizon mode, Partly because i was brand new to the tiny quad, but mostly because the old Dx6i has a mind of its own. An undiagnosed dicky F-mode switch was flicking between Rate and Horizon. Horizon's been unchecked in the mode tab, so we won't be seeing the wobble again anytime soon from this tiny copter.

Colour scheme was suppose to be racing bling, with a difference. And i got my little pony meets disco.

She was dubbed, Disco Pony!
