Percent Battery Charge monitor, Lua Script for Taranis (tested on the QX7)

OK , here is the package with my script and supporting documentation.
the script is "my_bat.lua" , ( remove ".txt" from the filename).
It should be stored in the memory card under the directory SCRIPTS/MIXES
The script produces an integer number, the Percent Charge remaining.
It may be displayed on the Telemetry screen and may also be read out loud by a special function.
(see screen shot pics of these screens)
The assumption is that there is a Voltage sensor in A2.
https://alofthobbies.com/frsky-batte...r-fbvs-01.html

The instructions may be followed from the attached file "Model Script Example Automatic Battery Cell Detection.docx " , from where my script was derived .
The table of percent battery charge data was taken from the package "battery_checker.zip"
The XL spreadsheet included in "LiPo_disch.zip" has the cell Voltage - Charge data and charts .

Credit goes to these sources for most of the material I used :

I hope it works for you !

This is a lot better than the maiden. Smooth takeoff and landings, tight rolls but it just kind of flips over on loops. Very pitch sensitive. Think it is because too much play in the elevons. Elevons are too large too but if I fly it more aggressively then that makes it more fun. Don't like to use expo.

Got this headstrap that can hold my mobile phone which has a great camera. Much better than my micro camera which had such a small field of view that it was difficult to keep the airplane in sight.

Flew great--needed to reset end points on my ESC as prop stopped at about 5 % throttle when landing. No harm just abrupt.
Grand Tundra maiden (3 min 55 sec)

Pretty much finished building this plane. It ain't pretty but it sure is strong. AUW is about 14 oz and wing area is about 270 sq inches so WCL is about 6. Should fly. Got a tiny motor 2206 1400kv with a slowfly prop but thrust will be about 1:1. Going to be an interesting maiden.
Used some servo arms for the control horns.
Rubber bands holding wing on but may use bolts.
Rubber bands holding hatch on but will use magnets.
If it flies then will try a larger motor and proper prop.
Also would like to build second very flat wing to see how fast it will go.

Raining so much lately just cant get out to fly.
Finally got a proper headgear to hold my cell phone for taking video.

Yep Les Amis,
Décollez... Visez... Shootez !

I'm working up the drawings for both the Monocoupe and the P-12. They are both going to be designed around electric motors, but I'll make provisions for glow. I'm using original factory drawings for the Monocoupe and William Wylam drawings for the P-12. The Monocoupe is working out to be 1/4 scale and the P-12 will be somewhere around 1/5 scale. When Johnny Livingston purchased 901W it was a long wing Coupe. After a season of racing it was fitted with short wing and Johnny began a series of mods to make it faster. The mods he did were tested in the air, change something, fly it, change something, fly it...fortunately it was well documented. The airplane was one of the most successful racers of the early thirties. The short wing also made it a great aerobatic platform. The plans will represent the airplane before it was sold and further modified by Monocoupe. The late model fuselage was given a round profile and a larger engine. Ruth Barron would go on to race the airplane and unfortunately lose her life in 501W while arriving in St. Louis. The airplane would eventually be 'rebuilt' a few times and is currently in California nearing completion once again.

Hopefully both will be good flying airplanes.
