I built this bird from a short kit. Thought a video might be an efficient way to document the build. Let me know if you have questions.

'Actually got to fly today despite the thermometer hitting -20 F last night. It
was 10 degrees and sunny this afternoon with 5 mph winds so I took the afternoon off and threw some balsa in the air. I started with skis on the LT.-40 and did 50 touch-and-goes in the snow. Really fun. Then I flew my KX2. It was the fourth flight and since I'm a 3D Newbie I'm working on CG issues. 'Still have a way to go to get it flying right. I hope to soon get a serious 3D machine. Probably PA, EF or 3DHS. TBD...

After a 35-year hiatus, I picked up a Horizon Hobby Champ in May of 2014 and it's been hardcore RC for me ever since. I flew the wings off a Parkzone P-51 BL a RocHobby Waco and a Sukhoi Su-29 MM. Then after spotting several balsa planes in my father-in-law's shop, I started converting them to electric. First was a Flyin' King, followed by a Sig LT-40 and a Sig Four Star 60. I converted the Four Star to kindling one day and loved it so much, I replaced it with the Four Star 64 ARF. I grew up with Sig and was extremely impressed with the quality of this plane! Then, this winter, I scratch built a KX2 (from plans generously provided in RC groups by Quicker) and assembled a KA8 foam glider. Currently, after picking it up at a swap meet, I'm finishing the build of a Royal Kits P-51. I intend to start a build log.

I hope to have a lot of comments and inputs as I continue to grow in this amazing hobby!
