Sometimes "SuperEZ" is just what I need.

Not sure how I stumbled upon the plane, but I'm glad I did. It's not "GWS Slow Stick" slow, nor does it have the Conscendo glider's gliding ability, but it really is a fun flyer if you enjoy lazy predictable stress-free flying.

PNP is $129.99 at MotionRc so the price is certainly fair enough. Toss in a $6 LemonRx 6 channel receiver, (if you have a Spektrum radio), and a cheap HK 3s 1300mah battery and you're all set. I did have to add between 15-20gms of weight under the nose to get 65mm CG. The manual states 60mm, but 70mm is suggested on the SuperEZ thread.

A huge box arrived on my porch today from a good friend I met here on RCG a couple years ago, Gabe221. We've sent a few plane kits to each other before, but this AgWagon was from his personal hanger. Very cool!

Any of you who know Gabe, know he has a big heart and will help anyone in anyway he can, both here on RCG as well as in his daily life. He's certainly helped me a lot be it radio programming, telemetry, plane assembly etc.... or just by being a good listener in times of trouble.

Thanks again for all you do Gabe!

My wife and daughters gave me this birthday gift nearly a year and a half ago... I finally decided to use it yesterday. Awesome gift!!!

Of course the videos don't truly capture the experience, but do give an idea of what it was like. Very cool! The ground videographer was my daughter, and I recorded from inside the glider with a Mobius.

The glider was an ASK-21 and the tow plane was a Piper Pawnee.

Today my daughter Tomi assembled her first plane. A GWS Slow Stick. She pretty much did all the work except soldering connectors to the ESC. She wasn't interested in playing with a hot soldering iron. It took us longer than it should have to build because she had to go get her hair done half way through.

It turned out quite well and she seemed to enjoy the build. Hoping she gets to maiden it this weekend, although she sounds a bit nervous about it. She has successfully flown my Champ and Sport Cub S, so I think she'll do fine with the SS....Continue Reading

Helping my younger brother, ( and flying buddy), assemble his new Tech One Pop Wing.

This is not really a how to entry. More just a spot to share photos of the build. He has a couple other planes, but this one I had him do "more of the build".

Please keep in mind that he is developmentally disabled but loves to fly just the same as you and I. He has been doing great at flying this year!

It was windy here in New York today so I decided to play with my Alula glider.
Little did I know my session would be cut short by a visitor of sorts...

Alula flight..... cut short (3 min 11 sec)

Today I got out and maidened my Ares Gamma 370 Pro!

My flying field with a runway, (a paved road), had a stiff crosswind.
I should have just left the plane in the car and went home, but I had a momentary lapse of reason and went ahead with the maiden.
Iíll let the video tell you the rest of the story.

Jump ahead to the 1:00 mark.

Mike
