My my my , a MK2 Tiger ... ( I am in no way affiliated with the seller or engine )

18650 power ( 2 x 18650 cradle ) for my WL Toys 12428 (1 min 9 sec)

So here is the 18650 battery cradle in action ..
I run 50% throttle in the back yard , just not enough space for full power ..
But the 18650 are really doing a good job ..
The battery cradle is a little rough as nuts , but was sort of proof of concept ..

Some time ago I said I was going to make a battery cradle for 2 x 18650 ( 2s ) to test 18650 for possible RC use ..

I made the cradle some time ago complete with a balance plug .

I forgot to do a spring bye pass !!! ( Such a dumb ass )
So there I was wondering why one spring looked like it had cooked ( because it had - cooked )
I had done a double bye pass on the other spring , but forgot all about the other ( dumb ) , I must be getting old or something .

Anyhow , I did a double bye pass on the front spring and VIOLA !! ( or is that Eureka )
Now that the batteries are not cooking a spring there is plenty of juice to feed the buggy .. ( such a )

So there you have it ... ( Lets get that link to the batteries )

So the batteries are fine , just a dumb dumb playing with them ...

I am all out of these battery carriers , but I do have some on order ...
So I might do another with thicker wire ( bye pass )

1) So yeah , if you do this remember to bye pass the springs ( They dont like current )
2) The solid contacts should be fine ( much larger surface area ) if you really wanted you could drill and solder (?) but you take the risk of melting the plastic .
3) When soldering , I would recommend pliers to hold the contact points to act as a heatsink ( That melting plastic thing )
4) I added a 2s balance harness for the battery / voltage monitor / alarm , also if you want to charge the batteries in the cradle ( balance charge )

JJRC H36 (1 min 0 sec)

My JJRC H36 came today !
Charged the battery and bound it to my 9XR pro VIA the IrangeX IRX4 multi protocol module ( MJXq protocol / EO10 sub protocol )

I have not tried it on the factory Tx as yet !

I was not sure I was going to like the H36 at first . It is a little lack luster in performance when compared to the Eachine EO11 or the Furibee .. Takes a lot of stick to make it move , and the throttle is a little dull as well . It kind of made me think for a moment just how sweet it would be for some one just starting out .
In fact I would almost dare to say it would be perfect .. Now it can move but like I said it takes a lot of stick ..
So I went outside and tried to hot dog some .. Ok the H36 can not compete with the EO11 or Furibee ..

But what it is , is very stable and predictable .. It is not slow when you give it stick , but once again the EO11 will just eat the H36 for lunch .. But what the H36 gave me that the other micro quads have not is the confidence to fly the H36 like a plank in the confined space of my back yard .. It's simply so predictable and stable that it just builds confidence .

I have not tried the factory Tx as I purchased the H36 to be bound to my 9XR pro . For the $17 ozzi bananas I can really say the H36 is a lot of quad for the money .. If you are after performance you definitely want the Eachine EO11 , but if you are looking for something that will build confidence / skill / the JJRC H36 requires serious consideration .

Super stable , predictable , cheap ,
Throttle is a little dull , take's a lot of stick to make it move relatively fast .
It flies almost like it was on 50% Expo ...

It's insanely cheap , super stable and easy to fly .
Do I recommend it = Hell yes ..
Is there better = Eachine EO11 ...

Ok , it was never new .. What it was was a DIY of mixed bits ..
Some one has taken a RITM and put a MK12 head on it ..

Engine is pretty much garbage ..
Completely clapped out , rod might be bent , wrist pin was broken , the rear disc is acting like a brake ( binding ) ..
I will have to look in my spare parts box , I am sure there are a few wrist pins .. ( Dont know about rods )

I might be able to salvage this engine and make it run ( ) ...

Eachine EO11 from banggood (7 min 35 sec)

Came today ...
First thing I did was bind it to my 9XR pro ( IrangX multi protocol module ) to the EO11

As soon as I turned on my Tx the EO11 bound to it .
These was no need to reverse anything ( though I like my rudder reversed ) ...

Wow ! The EO11 is simply amazing bound to the 9XR pro ..
It is amazingly light and has plenty of power with a fresh battery .
I can't recommend the Eachine EO11 highly enough if your looking to bind wit ha multi protocol module ..
