I loved flying up until I crashed my Goblin 500 at the end of one Fun Fly. At the next Fun Fly a few weeks later, I was jittery even just flying planes like the Yak 3X and Carbon-Z Cub. I ended up spending most of the time on the Apprentice S and my 300 X and CFX never came out of the van. So I spend the past few weeks on the flight sim and racing RC cars. Finally yesterday I took a new 450 X I picked up cheap at the LHS(http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLADE-450-X-...-/321417672402) out for a maiden flight and remembered how much I love flying. I tuned up the 300 CFX a little more to my taste too. It was pretty rough out of the box. Much smoother now. Then I pulled out the 200 QX for a little night flying and realized in agility mode that I had the expo at 0. Twitchy little sucker. Much better at 30% expo.

My son likes the 200 QX, but the 350 QX is just so much easier for him to fly. He credits all his time on the MSR X for making him as good as he is. It is always fun to let an adult try the MSR X, fail miserably, and then hand the TX to my 8 yr old to show them how it is done.

Now I want to get the big planes back to the field and I can't wait. Maybe this weekend....or sooner.
