Hi, all 4 of my 1206 brushless motors on my drone are making a random ticking noise at all levels of throttle. They are brand new motors controlled by a mini mamba 4 in one esc stack. I get the ticks only when using the JazzMaverick rpm filter-enabled firmware; Normal BLHeli S firmware seems to not have any ticks. Besides the ticking noise, the motors seem to run fine, however I did have one uncommanded jitter while flying a couple packs but recovered in-air. Any ideas of what the problem is? I can try to post a video later if there is any intrest.

I've tried many and got only one successful flash-ready hex file. The one I am using is blhoop and does give me pretty decent acro. I've seen others that supposedly include other attractive features such as PID settings, dual flight modes and battery telemetry. These would be very welcome additions but I cannot for the life of me find any that are ready to be flashed through the ST Link Utility. I tried messing with the silverware and the ?Kelly? program without success. This is more of a last resort before I just settle for what I got. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it unorthodox to store 1s lipo batteries in parallel all at 3.8v? I find it convenient, just wondering if it's a no-no.

I've never had much confidence in using zip ties and hot glue and know there's just got to be a better way. Thought I would start up a discussion on here to get some ideas ...
