I finished developing an app that allows 1 phone transmit preview of the camera via wifi to another phone which displays it. delay is about 1/10sec. it might be not real fpv for racers but as security cam or cam for taking pictures in the air it works fine.

I don't see any interest in this project so it looks like a waste of time posting in this forum. But I'm personally very happy with the app I wrote

This camera is similar to y3000 in quality, the same width of view, similar (or the same) bitrate, I can't tell a difference.
The difference is timestamp. on y3000 you need to put TIME.TXT file in root directory of memory card and press reset button on camera. on this one it doesn't work. you have to use a windows app that cames with camera on disk. I personally don't like to be dependent on OS application, text file is much better for me.
this camera is heavier then y3000, a bit more expansive. so I would choose y3000 as flight camera although on this one you can remove cover and lens is not hanging on ribbon cable but attached to main board with glue. I like this camera to be in my pocket as a keyfob just in case, for flight I would choose y3000 (if I need not wide angle) and #16 if wide angle is needed....Continue Reading

UDI U818 camera is SD camera that comes with U818A quad copter. I baught it separately to use on v222. I discovered that this camera doesn't loose footage if you don't stop recording from your Tx. That was reason I haited v222/v959 camera - unreliability, you lose footage in case of crash.
video is 640x480 just the same as on v959/v222. Bitrate is a bit smaller but I don't feel any difference in day light. angle of lens is just the same and I think it's the same lens and sencor.

Those AA batteries suck. when I did convertion to 2s LiPo it now works forever without charging and weights almost nothing. Can't belive I didn't do this years ago

On one thread they were discussing vibrations on toys aircrafts and one guy said that "toy vibrations" might have another meaning. Another guys said that in those "toys" they need vibrations and in ours we try to get rid of them.

The HD (1024x720) video camera Y3000 is my new on board video recorder. It is cheaper then 808 #16 but shoots as good video and has smaller board. It is not as popular in rc world as #16 but deserves attention because has more decent outfit (not some shameful keyfob making people think off bad intentions) that makes it legal in any country (you can have 10 years of prison for possession of 808 keyfob in Ukraine) and video quality is very good in spite of cheap price.

FY 999-2 quad copter is another mini quad that has geared drive but it has 3-blades on each propeller that makes it different. IMO those blades are neither advantage or disadvantage, it's nice that they not just cloned MQX quad or clone some clone of clone of clone of MQX but came with some new features.
