Even with laser cut kits I,m slower than molasses. Radio installation is the biggest struggle, small airframes especially.
Micro laser stick is about 4 ounces four channel but no tail wheel. Two willynillies and a sig hummer. On the hummer will elevate the fuel tank a little and use the canopy to cover it.

Wanting to complete some 1/2 a rc planes but among other demands I have to saw a bunch of logs for house and garage projects.before the cold weather. After many years of concentrating on building a post and beam garage and servicing cars, house systems etc., finally resuming r/c. Many if not most planes need a little finessing to get them in good shape. The flashback kit I bought here (as jim e) and the canopy was crinkled, Have to redo magnet system or use another method to secure canopy (Velcro?). The foam sportser is ready, just do not like how the motor goes wild if you turn off the tx while battery is hooked up-probably the airtronics rx so may change. My fry sky equipment is now "legacy" but still should work okay. Here's to hoping to,learn knife edge after 37 years of flying r/c. Oh and I hope to get a lot more organized!!

Over five years to (mostly myself) build this garage from trees out back and milling them as needed. I have half of the three bay loft, woodshop and building tables. My wife has the other half with her well organized and stored materials. The main floor has two bays with radiant heat (not yet hooked up) and a 12 x 22' wood shop area that is over a basement with indoor wood boiler waiting to be hooked up as well. Got some more radio gear on rcg at reasonable prices. Slowly starting to resume r/c flying.
