A little physical comparison. Both look really nice in their own way.
As far as flying the AJ Slick fly's much better straight out of the box however the hobby King's Slick is getting better and better each day as I tweak it out. Adding 27mm carbon fiber arms on the servos, sealing all the hinge gaps and such. I must say it is a lot of fun to fly! Another Hobby King plane worth every penny!!

Description: Can't say I don't shop around!
Front row L to R Addiction X, by Precision aerobatics, Hobby King's, 51" Slick, And 3DHS 51" AJ Slick
Back row L to R Parkzone's old reliable T_28 in Blaze orange and E-flight's PT-17 StearmanThought I'd update a little. Notice the 3DHS's 51" AJ Slick sitting beside Hobby King's 51" Slick. Must say I'm impressed With HK's $108.00 Slick. Not quite dialed in yet but I see the potential!

I donated a few planes and helicopters to the West Potomac High School Science and Engineering Club.
Much to my surprise,I got this great thank you letter with approximately 100 signatures!

Hey Guys; I read in the how to and tip section to use Titebond 111 Ultimate wood glue. Just paint it on all the joints with a small artist's paint brush . This stuff does soak in some and is waterproof. I never had a balsa failure where I used this glue under normal conditions. Of course anything will break up if you do a nose in. This stuff will definitely take care of any weak or missed CA joints. NO FUMES, WATER CLEANUP

Attachment 4674643I liked the scorpion motor so much on the PZ T-28 I brought a second one. One is the highly visible fluorescent orange (pictured). I fly hard low inverted and Knife edge passes. Its nice to know I have a motor I can depend on. No worries about over heat at Constance WOT.
Painting notes; Primer, valspar white, Rust-oleum Fluorescent bright neon, and Minwax spray Polyurethane....Continue Reading
