While most are going from Nitro to electric I am starting to do the opposite... Nitro is more work but seems to be more enjoyable an the sound is great. well, electric is just as enjoyable an nice to just throw batteries in an go... Having best of both worlds is my modo now.
almost done.... had a .46LA took it for a few flights an it just lacked any power.. upgraded to this 55ax swinging a 12X6 prop, added a robart strut, 3" low bounce light tires on rear with 2 1/4 low bounce tire upfront to compensate for the extra length the robart strut added . taking a little more time to get all this together, adding flaperons along with a GY401 for rudder control.

modding the J3 cub here.. I just added a larger motor an had to make a custom motor mount. maybe finish today or next week. (check out the other sections in my blogs)

Just got the new Hacker motor in the mail yesterday... I get time I will install today (3 plane projects going on today lol + work on the truck busy day)
