Hi everyone!, ,.. I know that many builders here are familiar with /and used these toys in the hobby for everything from casting molds to actual RC models!,.. BUT I found a quick fix to a problem of my own to incorporate them!!,...seems my Ex-brother -in law upon returning my Tripod ,forgot to detach the mount head from what ever equipment he had used with it and failed to include it in the return making the tripod useless!,,.. SOoo ,I was going to mock up a replacement out of wood, (troublesome at best) but had a "MacGyver" moment and came up with this!!,..Works GREAT on it. I only had to glue (no cutting) the blocks w/super glue n Drill the hole for the 1/4-20 x 3/4 attachment screw, add some self stick vel-crow for additional security, n now can put my unit back in service recording my RC vid's for ya'll when I don't have an assistant camera person!!........... Hi everyone just thought I'd give ya some multi hobby news!!.....My new (to me),... 4x monster trucck suffered worse than I had thought,I lost a set screw on the pinion gear,which allowed it to move off of the keyway and basicly grind the teeth down ,..so ..trip to LHS nessesary, rain here course washed out my "track" before truck broke! but can remake it!..Found some new tool Ideas to do my trim work faster on the Ameri-tudes planking shape sanding, may can even use it for some fine finnish work on her too! !.. Graphics still being tweeked before submit to Mr.Garrett(Brock)here on RCG....2nd float test should happen maro!!...Glider on HOLD for now, wanna get my boat s maiden in July 2014 if not sooner......Thx for your support n advice!!!...Tim......I figure IF you are reading this you see my pic's on my thread so I'm not gonna double post them now...H.X.

HI everyone !! ,..The ball feild was finnaly dry enough to take my new truck out for a test run ,with full fuel tank!!Miss Kim was not incorrect about it's speed!!!,..As a rookie driver, I of course brought out the caution flag a few times n hadda a make a few unscheduled 'pitstops' to fix the 'battle' damage...till the last lap we ran hard..then on the white flag we ran out of fuel n had to be towed back to the shop area only to discover we were running on the no flat of a cutdown left rear tire!!!Shop crew addressing repair n preventative!! we gett'em next week!!!..It was a blast even if it was only 20-30 min. on a nice sunny spring day here in N .Cacalacky!!....Try to send a vid next time if learn how by then!!...TIM
