My charging station for F5J contests.
Apache 1800 Pelican style case, power hub which feeds the Lipo charger and a 5v source for Tx charging, wooden cigar box lid for the shelf, and underneath is a 5S 5,000 mAh Lipo and miscellaneous cables. Shelf is simply a snug fit atop dowels as standoffs hot glued into the case. Goal was to have a small self-contained portable charging station out in the field.

Prestige 2PK Windy, Tenshock 1515-15T w/ Reisenauer 5:1 micro gearbox, Castle Phoenix Edge Lite 50 w/ BEC set to 7.4v, Vladimir 32/6 spinner, GM 15x8, Tattu 3S 850 mAh 75C, KST X10 Mini w/ IDS for flaps, MKS HV6110 w/ IDS on ailerons, MKS HV6110 for elevator & rudder, FrSky G-RX8 rx, Altis 4+.

AUW: 1495 g/53 oz
CG: 111 mm
Nose-stock: 390 mm length
Nose trimmed for CG 111 mm: 348 mm length

Using a pull tab (Kapton tape) on the canopy since it's so tight; folds down flat due to the slight curve of the canopy.
Added the lightest ballast bar (236 g/8.4 oz); resulted in AUW 1735 g (61 oz) and CG 110 mm.

Infinity NG short nose vtail & Ultima (1).

Repurposed cigar box - Padron 4000.

Added a new bird to the quiver for the 2018 season, an Ultima Strong with an extra set of standard wingtips. Nice having carbon pushrods instead of the cable system.

My initial thought is to fly with the lighter standard wingtips, and when the wind picks up use the strong tips, along with ballast.

New Infinity NG F5J with the performance layup. Servos and LDS system factory installed; MKS 6110's for the ailerons and KST X10 Mini's for the flaps.

Weight w/ 3.5 degree carbon joiner (3.5 degrees, 50 g; 6 degrees, 58 g): 1150g (40.6 oz)

Most likely will install a HET 2W-4600KV WITH MICRO EDITION 5:1NL motor, running 3S with a 14x7 GM prop.
