For those who don't know me, my name is Rob. I am a disabled veteran, and have been making custom transmitter straps out of 550 paracord, selling them in the classifieds here. They have been very well received and I appreciate everyone who has given them a try.

Currently, the V.A. is helping me retrain for a career in a new field. I am half way into earning a bachelor's degree in graphic design at Full Sail University in Orlando, currently holding a 4.0 GPA.

Recently our beagle, Bugsy, was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. Cushing's disease is caused by either a tumor on the thyroid gland in the base of the brain, or in Bugsy's case, a tumor on the adrenal gland in his abdomen. The vet can treat this with medication, but he would have to be on it for the rest of his life, and it is very expensive. The vet can also do surgery to remove the tumor, this will cure Bugsy completely, with no need for a lifetime of medication. This is obviously the best route to take, but as a full time student, and a disabled veteran currently not working, I have a limited income. Without treatment or surgery, Bugsy will not survive. My girlfriend, Susie has created a campaign to try to get help for Bugsy, but this page needs to be shared. We are not big Twitter or Facebook users and we are hoping maybe the good people of RCGroups would help share Bugsy's campaign and get eyes on his story. We know that somewhere out there, somebody knows of a foundation or agency who may have grants or funds set aside to help people with veterinarian bills.

Thanks to everyone for their help,

Rob
