Well, I just thought I would post a quick update!
The SuperFly is A LOT of fun! I tested the durability last weekend
I had it on its side in a turn at full speed(which is pretty fast on 3s!) about 20ft off the ground, and I just lost control. I am not sure exactly how it happened, but I had the antenna taped down, and I think the the tape came off, and allowed the antenna to dangle into the prop, and get pulled out of the Rx! It went in on its side at full throttle, did more cartwheels then I can count, and the only the that happened was it broke part of the canopy, and all it took was about 30sec with the hot glue gun, and it was in the air again!
I maidened my scratch built foamy biplane today! It flys very well! Only problem I have found so far is that it will only fly KE if I dont hold much rudder in it, if I do it rolls out. I think this is because of how ,much side area it has from the struts, I will trim the down some, and see if that helps.
I have been wanting the Oxalys F3A from Hobby-Lobby for a while, and just got an e-mail saying it will be in the Crash Sale tomorrow, and will be discontinued after that, so I will probably be ordering one.
I also plan on setting up my Hobby-Lobby FA-18 with vectored thrust this weekend!
Sometime soon I hope to get a Lynx, take the fan off, and put a MicroDan 2505 "SPEED" in it!
There are a few planes I hope to get when they come out...
E-flite Ultimate(if its anything like the Ultimate Fx it will be awsome!)
