Hello all,

I havn't made a blog entry in a while,Well it's mostly heli flying i am doing now and love the challenge of them,just using a stock DFC 450 from Align,but they are great machines,very stable and agile,my first heli this christmas,and having a blast...

Just learned today the inverted circuits,i found them quite the toughest so far,decided to try it and it worked,i find once you have the basic control dynamics in your brain it's not too bad,when you know what makes the heli tick you get around it faster,so far so good,this is the latest video.

Love the agility of helicopters for 3D flight,mad!

Anytime i go to the effort to take this one out it never lets me down,engine always starts and runs consistant with minimum effort & i always come home from my own personal show with a smile on my face.

That's what it's all about i think,finding that bit of enjoyment & sadisfaction.


Thanks to my wife Nicola for the great HD shot.

Loving this new machine,i knew helis were for me,i am having so much fun with this one,i am truely hooked on this big time!!

Amazing machine this Align,it's so stable and flys so good with mind bending performance.

Just decided to make a comment on this plane,been flying this recently and i have to say it's one amazing little plane,such a handy size and what a performer!

Just got hold of an 18x8 Gemfan prop,they are fairly new on the market apparently,I got one to test so will report how it goes,it's far lighter than the Zinger one i'm using right now,so less loading will be placed on the engine i'm thinking,It sure looks like more of a 3D prop, i'll give it a go and see,I have a feeling it will be much improved for the 3D stuff...

I have an APC 18x8 and an 18x6 ordered so i will report also how they go on this Evo engine.

Can anyone suggest what way this plane flies,anyone have experience with it?#

There is no strip rebuild videos of this engine anywhere,so i decided to contribute this to the forum and my youtube channel as it may help guys who decided to try some work on there own engine,this video is aimed at the long term owner who wants to change parts after a LOT of usage because believe me you won't need to ever touch this engine for a long time.

Handy after a few years of flight if you want to change the piston ring etc....

The First cut to make the movie upload was 25mins,wouldn't work,so i cut it down to 18mins,took too long to upload so i chopped it again to 14mins,yeah i lost a lot of info but you'll get the point.
