This is my first hand build RC boat from a box kit. This kit is really simple with not a lot of details. So I decided to add some but more than that, add animations so it has more "life".

The boat ends up now with 32 animations. They are all controllable through the radio which is a 9XR Pro running ersky9x and a custom script. The receiver is a FrSky RX from which I only use the SBUS output to decode the signal encoded by the script in the transmitter. There are a total of 4 Arduino Nanos controlling the integrality of the animations with a serial bus to exchange data. The boat also supports full sound not just the motor but also all the animations and moving parts.
I haven't purchased any equipment. All parts are made using my 3D printer with ABS and flexible filament. I've also written all the programs for the Arduino Nanos from the motor sound generation to all the animations.

Below are a few videos:
- The boat has 2 demo modes. One showing the full capabilities around a scenario for table presentation which is the video below. A second one for deck animation while in navigation.

- I've also added recently a micro zodiac and crane. It enables me to put the zodiac in water, navigate with the zodiac (remote controlled as well) and put it back on the deck.
