New scenery additions as I continue to populate the scenery in Belfort-Chaux. The massive wooden hanger for the French made Astra Comte dirigible. it will have mouse clickable doors for entry and exit, if I can animate the human figures, maybe get them to also help opening the doors.

More new procedural scenery texture testing from the Ayers Rock part of the red heart of Australia.

Ayers Rock is looking a little too lush though.

Not something I've done in a while but lately with FlightGear new features come out that are outstandingly good. Thorsten's Regional procedural terrain feature allows you to customize land classes with several overlays of .png's, even make your own custom ones. I does require that the Ambient Light Scattering feature be turned up full. I'm working on a Regional terrain decor for Australia.

More images.. this time from Albany, Western Australia . This is where the procedural animation really shines, as it's a windy day, ( FlightGear has real METAR weather fetching..) in Albany, and the trees and the ground shrubbery are both waving gently in the breeze.

With the newly added Rock stratification and crack modeling you can imbed dirt or plant material into the crevices, And it passes the test of looking as good from 4000' up as it does from ground level.
