I choose to celebrate uploading my 400th video by uploading an RC Plane Crash Video of my good buddy Bill. He crashed his beautiful HobbyKing Durafly Vampire - D.H.100 Vampire Mk6 EDF Jet into the ground at our favorite new flying location.

Luckily before the crash I was able to get some nice flight footage of this foam de Havilland Vampire creation in the air flying great!

This mini-review contains information and a video unboxing, maiden flight, and review of the brand new Syma X5HW WiFi FPV Drone.

I have other Syma products, and I have been impressed with nearly all of them, but this one shows that Syma is not resting on its laurels.

In this video I unbox the quad, review its parts and pieces, put it through its maiden flight & first FPV Flight, and at the end of the video I wrap it up with a review followed by a few drone crash outtakes! lol

Here are my review notes:

Pros:

• Fun and easy to fly
• Super stable
• Altitude hold feature that performs better than expected
• Very durable
• FPV allows you to record to your smart phone and see the footage at the same time

Cons:

• There is some slight lag in the FPV, but not very bad at all
• The throttle cut takes some getting used to for it to work right
• Not a legit con, but it is hard to control when doing flips indoors or in other confined spaces

Features:

• WIFI FPV with 2.0MP HD camera.
• With Altitude Hold mode, setting height.
• 6-Axis gyro flight, for stability, stronger wind resistance and easier control.
• The quadcopter can fly both indoor and outdoor using 4 channels digital proportional RC system, 2.4 gHz
• Functions: up/down,left/right sideward fight,forward/backward,turn left/right,with gyro/flash lights,A 360-degree 3D and special functions (continuous rolling)

This is the maiden float flight for Bill with his HobbyKing Durafly Tundra RC Bush Plane.

He had some good support when he tried to fly on floats for the first time. As with any Bill flight, it was an adventure. Watch the video to see what I mean and you will get to enjoy a bunch of fun and beautiful extras.

Maiden Float Flight & Other Fun Extras - HobbyKing Durafly Tundra 1300mm STOL RC Bush Plane (10 min 20 sec)

This is my first flight video with my Mobius Action Cam with the Standard Lens A and I put it to the test in on my RTF Syma X8C Venture Drone, which is a DJI Phantom drone clone.

You will also see the E-flite P-51 Mustang in flight, which goes by the name of Dallas Doll.

Just in case those of you that saw my Runcam 2 Unboxing and Review video are wondering if I am going to do a video like this with that camera, you have to wonder no more. That is my plan for sure with this multirotor beast!

This is my list of pros and cons:

Pros:

- It records high quality footage at 60fps at 1080p, unlike the Mobius Action Cam that maxes out at 30fps at 1080p.
- Great transitions from very bright light to other scenery.
- Ease of setup
- Very close to GoPro quality video
- Compact size
- Value priced

Cons:

- It doesn't come with a lens cap to protect the lovely lens.
- Greens could be a little less washed out, but that is splitting hairs.

Even though this camera challenges my GoPro Hero 4 Silver in video quality, it can also be used as an FPV camera. I don't go into that in this video, but it can do a lot of things that I didn't have time to cover in this video.

This is my buddy Odell tearing up the skies airshow style at a new location with his Freewing F-14 Tomcat Twin 80mm EDF Jet. He puts on an excellent flight Flight Demo as always. There is even some Bonus Footage at the end, which is a flight at sunset that looks very cool!
