So flew yesterday.

Was a bit cold and gusty but good enough.

The Saito fg-33 is more than enough power for scale flying. At 19.5 pounds she lifted off at about 1/2-3/4 throttle. I had wait too much rudder throw. But she cruised around nicely.

Stalls were just mushy. Needs, as all biplanes do, rudder in the turns. Landed like a pussy cat.

Great plane, great build, I love it

So she is just about done. Ended up weighing 19.3 lbs. Happy with her.

So I got myself a Yak from Pilot. I love how it flys but the quality not so much. I have had to rebuild the gear box about 5 times. I will admit that one rebuild was do to a hard landing but the rest have been glue joints from the factory giving way. I swear they must use chewing gum.

I also got myself a Krill Extra 330, 31% with a GP76. I LOVE this thing. Its a beast.

And I am working on a Balsa USA Nieuport 28 1/4 scale. Coming along quite nicely.

So I acquired Proctor Antic Monoplane which the wings were partially framed. Put the wings on my building board and am on my way. I added the bamboo cross braces and have been sanding this far.
