1:12 Feiyue FY-03 Desert Eagle 4WD with brushed motor. It tops out at about 35MPH MAX, which is by far the fastest surface vehicle I have and that's good enough for me.

1:18 HSP crawler with New Bright Ford Raptor body, brushed motor and dual steering servos. This is my favorite surface vehicle. Factory made with only front steering, but with provisions to unlock rear diff position and mount rear steering servo.

Miscellaneous little R/C toys, which I like to chase my GF's cats with. The little green BRUSHLESS 2.4GHz RTF buggy with white LED headlamps does a great job of going under beds for terrorizing them in tight quarters in classic Kung-Fu fashion.

This is Zoey...bipolar demon from Hades. One moment sweet as Pecan pie and then suddenly ready to scratch eyeballs out, with long razor sharp claws. She is generally the only one who gets chased under a bed, after being nasty to her peers or even people.

This was the 1:18 HSP crawler with original Jeep body and pathetically cheap tires. It was in dire need of a meaner look and better treads.

It was a pleasure to remove the domestic looking Lexan Jeep body and wimpy looking tires with pathetic treads. These parts were actually sold on eBay for cheap....GOOD RIDDANCE, WIMPY LOOKING PARTS!!!

I was involved in many facets of radio control, as well as a bit of control line and free flight in the early 1990's. LIFE happened and left me no spare time to continue the hobby. Been in and out of the ham radio hobby, ever since getting FCC licensed in the early 1990's as well. More recently, I finally gave up owning and riding street motorcycles, due to the many unsafe drivers out on the public streets and highways. Still love dirt bikes, just as much as I did as a teen. Maybe there will be a street legal dirt bike in my future, since I do like the idea of a "dual sport". But no more fast & furious superbikes for me.

Despite the fact that I can fly and land my two helicopters with no major problems, I have always been too "chicken" to fly any of my planes without a veteran R/C pilot at my side to advise on my approach and sometimes even LAND them for me. I have done very well on flight simulators, but wrecking actual model planes has never been on my "to-do" list.

Anyway, my collection of kits and ARFs has dwindled way down to very few simple planes (about 18 to 20 total). I SOLD most of my collection (probably around 60 to 70 planes sold) and I now prefer to just keep it VERY SIMPLE, since I have several other hobbies....Continue Reading
