The latest from the bench. 1959 design. DE I got it off eBay about 20 year's ago, .been pecking ever since. I replaced the motors, shafts and radio. Hope to have her in the water soon.

I got this started scratch built Mosquito about 20 years ago in a trade. It has a fiber glass fuse sold by Bob Holman. The wing was framed up with ribs leading edge trailing and nacelle base/ retract mounts. I may have rework those.
I made the retracts per plan just mounted them. Looks like remount one retract. Here a few pictures.

I got tired of looking at the bare hull. I glassed it this week. Only took about 20 years to make up my mind. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Anyway I working on it while I wait for parts. I added a couple pictures.

Wanted to start the subchaser kit, I need to finish this first. The interior is all ready painted. Covering the radius edges with mahogany strips. Has stopped me. I'm afraid it will crack when bent over the edge of the deck.

Thought I would done something different. 68 in wing span. May not thermal that well, but it should slope

I built this last month. A Bede 5, with a 60 inch wingspan. Has Ailerons and elevator. I may add rudder lated , I think it would look better with a clear canopy. I’ll Change that later.
Used my laser to cut the parts for the fuse. I used 1/8 plywood for bulkheads and sheeted it with 3/32 balsa. I found the plans online I intend to Slope fly it.

Pulled out the AQ today. I have way to much stuff. Havent touched it for a good five years. My brother is going to get finished for his grandkids. Now on to the 58 in WW1 Subchaser and the Emma C Beery.

I made some masts for Deep Water last week. He got me back on the Emma C Berry. I'm making more parts. The skylight, focal, davit and the wench. My laser makes nice parts. And their easy to reproduce if I need to make more.
It is a half started kit I picked up on Ebay a few years ago.

I finally bought the new laser a 40 watt Full Spectrum hobby laser same as I had before. well almost, it's there latest revision. I also got the Retna program that runs the laser. It's more like a printer program, I'm still learning how to use it maybe it will get better in time.
I used auto CAD and Mach3 to run the old laser. I liked that much better that set up had a lot more control. I set up the old laser operating system like one would find in any machine shop. (G codes)

Still redrawing the Electra, and the DH 2. Just takes time. that's all for now Folks

I case you all have been curious to why I've been missing in action. I had left in early August on a extended vacation, returned Oct 25th. a day ill never forget. Only to find my home had been robbed in my absents. They stole dam near everything I own. I lost my CNC laser and the computer to run it. All my CAD designs . It's going to be a while before I get back to where I was. Lost lots of kits and motors too. Still working with my insurance now. Hope to be working on the Electra and the DH-2 by end of year.

I'm back from travel. Plan to get back to work on the Model 10 this Sunday. Going to see TRP Saturday to pick up a D-7 from him. Maybe work out a deal on another plane..
