I was only able to take a quick test flight with the new lens. We have some weather coming in, very windy and dirty air. Overall I'm happy with the Sunex DSL945D. I can even switch back to the stock lens in about 5mins if I want.

As the picture below shows, the 945D has a smaller head than the stock gopro lens. This does leave an opening so I made an o-ring type solution. This fills the gap and also keeps the lens very secure with no need for glue or adhesive.

Today when I was doing some focus test I noticed the lens does have a lot of glare. I decided to make a bigger o-ring, one that sticks out further so it would work as a sun shade. It's not the cleanest look but the foam doesn't added much weight at all and that is very important.

I might order a 355A and see how that compares, I just hate how much shipping is from sunex.
