Halloa people

a while ago I was contacted by the company Vector Quads. A company I had personally not come across before that. They design tilt rotor frames in the racing-class size (+/- 250 isch).
I was asked if I would want to review their frame kits, and as I really like the concept of tiltrotos, I said: yes please!

So.. a few days ago the frame kit showed up, and my first impressions is that looks & feels like a quality product. it is not the cheapes frame out there, but they don't seem to have skimped on the parts

If you are not familiar with the concept of tiltrotors: The theory is that you can accelerate faster, and have less aerodynic drag.

They now have 2 versions available. A quadcopter, but allso a tricopter. The nice thing is, that you can actually convert the base quadcopter setup into a tricpoter with just a few extra pieces

Here is a link to the Vector Quads website: http://vectorquads.vfmcorp.com/

in this thread I will obviously allso do flight demo's with the completed frame, but let's first have a look at the frame kit itself:

injection molded parts
various machined parts

3 vibration damping balls

Howdy people

for a boat build I am doing I needed a more powerfull charger. The speedboat is 1.3 meters in length so it uses quite substantial lipo's :P (4x 8400mah 3S)
Offcourse I don't want to wait for hours to charge those, so I ordered up this nice Hyperion 1000W charger

Offcourse I can allso charge several smaller lipo's with it in parallel.
