HappyModel 0802 Brushless Motor (0 min 55 sec)

Unlike my 1103 , the 0802 actually runs !
Just a quick little video to show the 0802 running with the 5A 1s ESC ..
I made my own connector to bridge the motor ESC ..

I just need a mount for the little 0802 now ..

There is still a smaller motor to be had , the 0602 , but the weight is so close to the 0802 that ?
Oh well , if you like cute little motors , then you may want one .

So the motor runs 1s just fine . The ESC works .
Hmmm , aside from being really cute , what do I do with it ? ( Besides some testing after I get it mounted )

Tokai Kisen produced and launched a radio-controlled model of the “Ai” jet ship operating between Tokyo Takeshiba and Izu 7 Islands.
The hull design is the late Uncle Tris, Ryohei Yanagihara.
I have produced three of his design works, “Rainbow”, “Friend” and “Daisen”. In all cases, the paint masking work was difficult due to the unusual pattern design. This “love” also has a heart-shaped design,
The curve masking took time to reproduce. Even so, the pink color of this hull is the first color in my ship's coloring and I feel a culture shock.

Ready to fly better FPV today?!? 🤩
Today, we set up rate profiles and enjoy BOTH freestyle and race-style flying using different rates with the flip of a switch!
See the rates of some outstanding freestyle and racing FPV pilots like LeDrib, Mr Steele, StingersSwarm, Minchan, Headsup FPV, and Nytfury!
We use the average of their rates as a baseline for our rates and put them on a transmitter switch so you can easily change rates for freestyle and racing simply with the flip of a switch.
We cover what the rates are, how they affect your flying and how you can alter them to fit precisely YOUR flying style!
Sound good?

I have an R9 with the R9M module in my Taranis X9D plus se. I am using sbus to go to my flight controller the vector and I want to use the pwm our on channel 7&8 for my flap. I cannot get this to work. My sbus channels are working fine but channel 7&8 and not working with my flaps.

I had this same setup with an R8 and it worked perfectly. Any suggestions?

Gonna venture into the flying wing world and the KFM style wing is a highly recommended wing due to it's great durability AND how easy it is to put together.

The Indian Bureau of Surveying and Mapping plans to use 300 drones to help map the map so that the country has a more accurate map in the future.
For a long time, India maps lacked higher precision and electronics. According to the "India Times" reported on the 16th, the Indian Bureau of Surveying and Mapping for the first time plans to use 300 drones to map. A national map policy previously adopted by India clearly stated that all socio-economic development activities, natural resource conservation, disaster mitigation planning and infrastructure development require high-quality stereo data. Officials involved in the project said that the use of drones would enable them to produce high-resolution images of rural areas, which would facilitate the digitization of maps. Gilish Kumar, Director of the Indian Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, said: "Our goal is to provide high-resolution maps." He went on to say that aerial photography was used to map earlier, but this method is very expensive and has limitations. The drone can fly freely over a wider area, helping to capture sharper and higher resolution images.
In fact, with the development of drones and 3D point cloud model technology in recent years, not only India, but also many countries have begun to explore the application value of drones. The impact of drones is clearly deepening and sweeping the world. . As one of the few companies with production capacity in the whole industry chain, China MMC...Continue Reading

I have over 200 flights on this Airframe and the Foam is starting to get a little weak where the Wing Plate meets the Fuselage.
I did not design this Airframe to have a Wing Spar, however, I did update the Plans to include a Wing Spar.
Needless to say, in order to get another 200 flights from this Airframe a Wing Spar is neccessary.
I Retrofitted a Carbon Slat Wing Spar (1mm x 3mm) into this Airframe.
This is my 1st Test Flight after this Modification.

Let's see if I did Good, or if I did Bad ;-)

Here's what it cost me to Build this Parkjet ;-)

Ground Control F22 Mini V2 – BNF Build $49.01 | PNF Build $38.42

That's pretty darn Cheap I'd say ;-)

I'd like to see a Factory Plane that inexpensive that can Fly this well ;-)

The skill level needed for this Parkjet is Beginner to Intermediate.
Beginner setup is a 2S Power System with a 6x4 Prop.
Intermediate setup is a 3S Power System with a 6x3 Prop.
It's a great Trainer on a 2S Power System, Fast & Acrobatic with a 3S Power System.

Plans are available to Youtube Subscribers & Patrons!

If you would like a copy of the Plans & Associated Documents send an email to [email protected]
In the Email Subject enter: GFS F22 Mini V2 Plans
We will get them to you as soon as we can.
You're going to love it ;-)

See you in the Air!

Mods to my Whip .

Was it maybe 15 months ago I got the Whip ? Anyhow I have a bad back and the whip was medicinal ( get me out and being more active ) . At one time my back was so bad I could barely walk 100 meters . Now I can walk a few Kilometres to a local park and throw the whip around for 30 minutes to 60 minutes and walk back home and not be in brutal pain . ( A little sore perhaps )

Anyhow , early on I came to the conclusion I needed a launch peg to make life easier on me ( less painful ) . Already I was noticing a lot of surface stretch marks on the wing . And I thought without strengthening I would surely rip the wing apart if I put in a lunch peg .

Modified wing :
I removed the plastic hardware , the centre of the wing was glassed ( lightest glass from hobbyking ) . I also glassed the tip I wanted to put the launch peg on . Glassing also was used to secure the carbon rods in the middle of the wing . ( Mine were lose and there was a lot of centre flex )
After glassing I used laminating film ( 0.04mm = lets get that right ) . I now had a really strong and much stiffer wing than before . To counter the added weight the plastic wing hardware was given the heave ho and I cut up an ice cream container to make some pads for the wing screws .
I also added a counter weight on the opposite wing tip ( not sure this was needed )
Now I had a wing I was sure would handle peg launching .

POD :
Strengthening the wing just meant that energy would...Continue Reading

The reporter learned from the provincial traffic police corps highway detachment that the provincial traffic police corps highway detachment took the lead in enabling drone air inspections in the jurisdiction, and the drones focused on capturing traffic violations such as emergency lane parking and big car occupation. This is the first time that the high-speed traffic police department of our province has enabled drones to participate in highway traffic management.
UAV inspection duty is mainly used for aerial photography to observe road traffic congestion and capture traffic violations. According to the police who used the professional training of the UAV in the early stage, in the scope of the radiation coverage of the drone, it is possible to find where to shoot, and all kinds of violations of traffic rules and road safety can not escape its law. The trajectory of all vehicles and the number plate of the vehicle can be taken very clearly. For some motor vehicles that do not follow the prescribed lanes, illegal lanes for illegal lanes, and emergency lanes, they can be captured, providing strong evidence for the traffic police department to be punished according to law; and capturing and exposing some illegal activities such as retrograde vehicles. Elimination of blind spots in road enforcement.
In addition to the use of drones to capture traffic violations such as emergency lanes, the most important thing is to use drones to view road traffic congestion and traffic accident scenes, to provide timely and accurate information support for slow blocking and smooth operation. In the event of a traffic accident causing congestion, the traffic police can not arrive at the first time, the drone first arrives at the incident, and the scene is transmitted to the rear for the first time, according to the actual situation, the next step is given, and at the same time, The traffic police will have a more comprehensive understanding of the traffic accident scene and provide a basis for accurately handling the accident.
