... with flying.

I was so miserable today. I was shuffling around the apartment, feeling like I'd gone five rounds of a black belt test with one hand tied behind my back.

I went to the garage late in the afternoon... it was cold out (32F/0C)... but, I noticed that there was very little wind and cloud, and some decent sun, although the shadows were beginning to lengthen.

So, I took the Slowly, the Lil T-28, the UM Mig-15, and the new UM Mosquito to the small field, about a mile away.

I was able to to fly each aircraft at least twice.

For about 90 minutes, I forgot my misery and enjoyed my hobby... and a beautiful sunset.

It was a moment of grace for which I am grateful.

Mild temperatures. Zero wind.

I flew the Slowly, the MiG-15, the Carbon Cub, and the UM T-28. It was like flying indoors. I could have flown the Vapor with ease.

Photos soon... but, it was just the day I needed.

I'm flying some RealFlight, trying to keep my skills up.
